My City

The brief asked for:

“Show us a style moment which means something to you. Create images that sparks an interest from the viewer but explores both a unique and personal viewpoint. Include reference to the cultures, diversity and the individuality of your city with the ultimate message visualising your story.”

I decided to create an editorial about my personal experience being in Liverpool.

Narratives can be inspired by anything we see, hear, smell and anything in between. The story stems of this idea of being hangover from my personal experience in my first year as a student, but styling it a completely different direction. Re-telling the story in an elegant and romantic way influenced by S/S 18 trends and photographers from the likes of Rodarte Joshua Millard and Anja Niemi. This idea of being vulnerable, weak and the emotion that you feel when you are hung-over. Hanging an editorial piece by Lyn Dizon.
